- A.C.A.B. ALL CATS ARE BRILLIANT follows Electra, a 30-something non-conformist who has a jailed anarchist for a boyfriend, reformed hippies for parents and considers the eight year-old boy she babysits as her best friend.
- Electra, 32, lives in Athens during the crisis. Along with life in the ever-changing city, Electra is experiencing her own personal crisis. In love with a political prisoner, with studies in London that have no face, with parents from the generation of the Polytechnic who are still waiting for the left to unite, the film "Congratulations to the Optimists?" is a personal, subjective record of today's reality with humor, anger, love and lots of food talk.—anonymous
- Electra is a thirty-three-year-old woman who lives in Exarchia, Athens. She is smart, educated, and above all, an anarchist. Her boyfriend, who has been arrested, is convicted of terrorism. Her parents only offer insecurity for the present and the future: they are worried, and they like to bicker and banter. Electra's only solace is an eight-year-old boy whom he babysits, receiving serenity, laughter, and some of her lost innocence. But, Electra does not cower in fear before the socio-economic changes in Greece. Is there a future for the optimists?—Nick Riganas
