Another clipshow episode?
People often accuse the 1999 series of being slow-paced and having unnecessary fillers, but it never resorted to clipshows.
Are we going to have a clipshow every 13 episodes?
I really hope Gon does not keep sending letters to Mito at this pace.
With this, there are two entirely skippable episodes in the 2011 series already.
The much reviled filler episodes of old-school anime sometimes could be fun or expand the plot in interesting ways. These boring clip shows add nothing and feel redundant.
For me, the best clipshow episode ever made was So It's Come to This from The Simpsons, but hardly any show would try to make something as clever nowadays.
