The Lower East Side Film Festival announced today that "How To Follow Strangers" will open their 2013 festival beginning on June 13th at the the Landmark Sunshine Cinema. The festival runs through June 23rd and will feature judges such as Judah Friedlander, Academy Award Nominee Dan Janvey, Emmy winner Jerry Kupfer, writer and director Rebecca Miller and Bladimiar Norman of The Weinstein Company among others. "How to Follow Strangers" is based on a the true story of a woman whose decomposing body was discovered in her apartment a year after death -- in a crisp Chanel suit. A young man fascinated with the tragedy disappears, wondering if anyone will notice. A fellow commuter, played by Ilana Glazer, does notice and eventually decides to follow him when he shows up once again. Her pursuit opens the door for a series of events that bring them together.
