Warning: Spoilers
Did Ms. Matthews actually think that she would be able to leave the compound with her son? Anyone would know that the gate would be locked. With Joe Carroll at the helm, no one is going anywhere without his permission. Period.
This was a very good psychological episode. Joe and Ryan meet, and Joe forces the latter to come to grips with his father's murder 30 years ago. It actually gets Ryan to go back in time and review how his dad met such a violent death, after retiring from the police force.
Emma really has it out with Claire. Joe seems to be disgusted with Claire as well, as he seems to be going back into Emma's arms.
Jacob looks like he will now be killing at will. Look at the distinguished family he came from.
