In this episode, Stanley hates the idea of taking the stairs, and struggles to get up them. In contrast, early in the episode Weight Loss (2008), he avoids the elevator to take the stairs in his effort to lose weight. This is consistent to the previous episode where Stanley says "We've all changed."
