the best of the best

Warning: Spoilers
For the first time in this series we get to see diffrent teams from Cal Fire, all is surrounded by the past of Mr. Leone Senior which is a nice change of pace.

The prison angle is sdtrange to me, one would think that the inmates would wanna leave jsut as much as anyone else being in danger.

The drama is on the upper scale again, one thing makes me doubt the writers though.

Body is yet again running against his captain, while the rules at fire cmap suggest he cant even do that, without risking to be thrown back into jail. I think this is a case of to much influence of Thierot, which I understand. BUT it makes for a bad story if they would drop that and let him do the work, getting better and take the rollercoaster that he is having just more naturally than this series would become one of the best and could run 5 to 10 seasons.

THe memory of the fallen Rebecca is not taken good care of this episode I hope they drop it or make it better, survivors guilt is a real thing and they made it look very childish. And the angle that Brody likes the captain even though he isnt listening that is devasting bad.

I love the hunt for the arsonist and Im looking forward to this angle and how they are going to make that story come toghether with everything els ein three weeks. Is it jake? Or is it liek im expecting the new probi?

Pretty good show, but...

When this srries was first announced, my wife and I were excited to see what it would be. After all, we are huge fans of Chicago Fire and had high expectations. Not that CF is perfect; after all it is written by folks who likely never met a real fireman. One thing is evident, the writers knpw more about social issues than fighting fires. Maybe because we are part pf a family of real firemen do we have a different outlook on reality, and let's be honest here, a fireman's life is not all that exciting most of the time.

So here we have convicts helping California fire fighters save the world. I like the idea, and seeing these guys and gals out in the woods should be fun, right?

So why oh why is there always so much bickering? I mean there is never an episode where everyone works together to get the job done. It's worse than just pleasant rivalries, here we have fist fights and only God knows what else. I would like to see a little more humor between the team; you know what I mean?

Concrete doesn't burn

Warning: Spoilers
Prisons are like barracks made out of concrete. Remove all the mattresses, sheets, pillow etc outside and wet them down. Quicker and safer I would think than trying to Evac 1100 prisoners with no guards. Seems like a shelter-in-place situation , the fire will pass.

The prison grounds are likely cleared at 1000' around all buildings

I lived in SoCal in equestrian area where we had many huge open dry( no fuel) pastures, in a section of the county considered extreme fire area. We had meetings with Cal Fire and were considered shelter In Place. Go to these large several acre size open pastures and wait it out. It would be smokey but the fire would go around because nothing to burn in these barren areas. Safer then trying to Evac humans and equine down roads where fire would jump the roads

This episode is not accurate in my opinion.
