It's as if Franz Kafka drank Almodóvar, Buñuel and Dalí under the table. Jesus Christ falls off his cross, a priest is defenestrated, an officer shoots his wife, and a beautiful young woman is undressed in an unusual way. Blasphemous, bloody, erotic - this film is a big, beautiful puzzle. Granted, it might feel completely foreign to you, but just let yourself indulge. Pure reason may never prevail.
