I strongly advise against watching this if you have not already read the book. It casually gives away perhaps the most important aspect of the first book, like it's merely a background story in the first few pages. Much of the purpose of the first book is to provide context and build suspense to what the creator of the video causally gives away here, and I would recommend the author of the video remove or alter the voiceover to remedy this err in judgement.

GoT spoiler alert:

It's almost as if a preview for GoT Season 1 were to say that Ned Stark's death sets off a feud between families. Not that bad, but an apt comparison.

This video is basically "spark notes" for the first book. Anyone who watches this will have their experience ruined.

I don't want to mention what the spoilers are in my review to make sure people who read the review can have a good experience with my favorite series.

I find it irresponsible that the video creator would share so many huge plot twists in such a casual manner. I suspect they haven't actually read the first book and just recited facts from Wikipedia and failed to understand how pivotal these moments are.

I implore you to take the video down as many will be tuning in as the January 2024 release draws nearer.

I have watched the original chinese version and this is way off due to netflix effect, if you can find the original watch it in chinese, if you can't find it, then.. try to find the book series and read them. Otherwise, welcome to hell of netflix.
