Sorry. I love the franchise, but this second series has been dire.
Eric Stonestreet hasn't helped with his far too over the top performance, and the plotline just hasn't been good enough. Disney have spewed their need for messaging all over it, and the whole thing just looks stretched at six episodes.
The moment where I gave up was when it was revealed that Scott could look like his old self again at the click of a button, therefore ruining the whole idea of his transformation from the first film.
Tim Allen needs to be really careful what he's doing here. This series is one of his legacy pieces, he should think long and hard about what he's allowing to happen to it.
