The story follows Janabai Bhoyar, a farm widow, representing the overlooked plight of survivors of farmer suicides amid an agrarian crisis. Facing societal neglect, Janabai becomes a pillar for her family after her husband's suicide. Denied support by in-laws and her own family, she forms a self-help group to empower widows. Despite challenges, Janabai's resilience leads to the establishment of 'Terav,' helping widows reclaim land. Tragedy strikes when her husband takes his life, propelling Janabai to become a leader in a social movement addressing broader issues in the village and farms.
