Helen Baxendale's character may have died in Cold Feet, but that hasn't stopped co-star John Thomson coming up with a clever way of bringing her back.
A new series of Cold Feet has been rumoured to be in the works, with the original cast, including Thomson and James Nesbitt, back on board.
Cold Feet: Where are the cast of ITV's hit series now?
Viewers of the popular 1990s comedy drama were shocked when Rachel (Baxendale) was killed off in the final series in a car crash. However, could she come back as a sort of ghost?
"My idea for that would be, I don't know if you've seen Dexter, but his father appears in that and he's not a ghost, it's not supernatural," Thomson told Digital Spy and others.
"The beauty of Dexter's father is that he's his conscience, so he can see him and hear him, and they do it really well.

17 year old Maisie Williams, who shot to fame playing Arya in Game of Thrones, stars as Casey in Cyberbully, a one-off drama about the dangers lurking on the internet, which airs on Thursday 15 January at 9pm on Channel 4.
Casey is a teenager who experiences the worst the web has to offer – from peer-to-peer bullying to advanced computer hacking – and fights to overcome her ordeal.
Your new project is Cyberbully. You play Casey. What’s her story?
Casey begins as a young teenager who’s struggling to express herself, and the only way she feels safe is to do that anonymously through the internet. She finds that, using a fake name, she can post honestly about things that annoy her, things that make her laugh, things that make her happy and sad. That’s the way she gets teen angst out of her system, I guess. When we meet her,...

Gold Derby has confirmed that Frances O'Connor ("The Missing") will compete at the Golden Globes in the race for Best TV Movie/Limited Series Actress. Some award-watchers believed she'd compete in the supporting slot because she has less screen time than male co-star James Nesbitt, but she's clearly the lead actress of the Starz miniseries and she delivers a big, powerful performance. Members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association previously acknowledged her as a lead star in that same top category when they nominated her in 2000 for "Madame Bovary." Now she competes against Jessica Lange ("American Horror Story: Freak Show"), Frances McDormand ("Olive Kitteridge") and Cicely Tyson ("The Trip to Bountiful"). -Break- Watch Starz' Golden Globes frontrunner 'The Missing' free online now In the gripping new miniseries now airing on Starz -- you can watch free online her...

As a follow up to 2006's critically acclaimed Small Engine Repair, Irish director Niall Heery brings us Gold, an offbeat comedy that expertly straddles the fine line between the humourous and tragic. Our story kicks off when Ray (David Wilmot) returns to his home town, after years dealing with depression. Wanting to reconnect with his wife Alice (Kerry Condon), who has moved on from Ray with his former Pe teacher Frank (James Nesbitt), and teenage daughter Abbie (Maisie Williams), he inserts himself into their new life, setting in motion a chain of events that will have huge consequences for them all. It's a simple story, from a script written by Heery and his brother Brendan, but one that is brought to life with a massive amount of charm, and is both heart warming and heart breaking at the same time. It's shot through with a veneer you would more associate with American indie films,...

(Pictured left to right: Nina Dobrev as Katherine, Nina Dobrev as Amara, Nina Dobrev as Elena) On "The Vampire Diaries," Nina Dobrev has played so many characters -- and versions of characters -- it's a bloody travesty she's never been recognized by the TV academy. For those keeping track at home, over the first five seasons Dobrev effortlessly portrayed human Elena, human Katherine, vampire Elena, vampire Katherine, Elena pretending to be Katherine, Katherine pretending to be Elena, Katherine's soul inside of Elena's body and original immortal Amara. Whew -- did we forget anybody? -Break- The Emmys usually go crazy over actors and actresses who undergo multiple personalities or play various characters (like Toni Collette for "United States of Tara") so why is Dobrev the unfortunate exception to the rule?
