Great Comeback !!!!
ipathan_4425 October 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Whao. What a comeback from the horrible last episode. This episode is funny, humorous and sweet in every aspects. For once,Penny tries to do something for Leonard which was very interesting to observe. Sheldon's naiveness and honesty for his work was shown rather exclusively in this episode. What Howard comes up for Bernadette for their 1st date anniversary will get you a little emotional towards the end.THE SONG IS SO CATCHY!!! :P Last but not the least, the ever so nerdy Amy still trying to get the intimacy right between her and Sheldon. Raj,however didn't have any crucial role to play in this episode but hopefully he will be casted as a main protagonist in one of the episodes pretty soon.

Nice Romantic Episode
Hitchcoc27 October 2021
All the characters get into the act. Sheldon makes a major discovery and is being courted. But there is a big problem with it. Howard sets up a celebration for the anniversary of he and Bernie's first date. Penny wants to do something romantic for Leonard but can't fathom how to do it. There's a lot of sweet stuff here. There's also an interesting thing with Sheldon and Amy at the end.

Great episode

It was a truly amazing episode they didn't overdo anything and the penny- Leonard romance plot had a happy ending. But of course the most amazing thing about the episode was the song the lyrics where amazing and really (REALLY) catchy and it really gets you if you get all the references. My two favorite lines where: 1.id be doctor who without the tardis. and also: Id be firefly,Buffy and avengers without Joss Whedon. Also based on previous episodes i was pretty anxious that they would ruin the song by making Raj or Sheldon do something stupid. Sadly they have pushed Raj much and that made me anxious that he would ruin the song by trying to rap or smt. By the end of the episode i was just happy and glad about how everything ended.

"The Romance Resonance" was a really great ep of "The Big Bang Theory"

Warning: Spoilers
I had originally reviewed this ep of "The Big Bang Theory" sometime last year but someone had it deleted. I'll just say that I liked the way everyone gathered around Bernadette when she was hospitalized and hubby Howard serenaded her with a song he wrote about her. So, yes, this was quite touching and funny in the way one expects from "TBBT", that's for sure! There were also some nice developments concerning Sheldon and Penny & Leonard, as well. Thinking about it really brought me back to how much I remembered enjoying it. Okay, I'm about to reach the 10-line requirement of submitting this review, so on that note, I really liked "The Romance Resonance" ep of "The Big Bang Theory"!

So sweet!

Okay, the song that Howard writes for Bernadette is possibly the most romantic thing I've ever seen. I could be wrong, but I don't think he has expressed his feelings quite like this before. And now he composes a special night consisted of a special song, and like that isn't enough, moves it when she gets quarantined. I mean, this is a guy that at the beginning of the series, couldn't go five minutes without making an inappropriate comment towards women, and now he is writing a song for the love of his life. It's true, I thought the two of them got married kinda quick, but this episode convinced me. Howard and Bernadette are The Big Bang Theory's best couple, the most consistent, loving, and adorable.

Another waste of good material

Warning: Spoilers
Truly a sign of how poor the writing has become on what used to be a fantastic show.

The characters are wasted on a script that would have been thrown out by the writers of most first draft pilots.

Spoilers from here:

The box of memories scene is almost a straight rip off from Friends. Only when Ross and Rachel did it they had you crying at the screen, but when Penny and Leonard run through the same it feels cheesy, forced and rushed. And instead of using it to tie up the episode, we get dragged off to a completely ridiculous dream sequence that was telegraphed so badly I actually let out a sigh of frustration at how stupid it was.

The song was a total waste just to fill up some space, and there was no need for the rest of the cast to back up Howard.

Only good thing about this entire episode is the tight blue dress that they pour Penny into.
