The show continues to hold its own in the okay bracket but it's not quite there yet.Jedekiah's back to being generic and there are elements that are deeply frustrating.Cara takes over the leadership of the Tomorrow People(thanks to the introduction of TP3's version of Mike, a nice touch)and immediately decides to lead them on a mission into the heart of Ultra. This is the sort of thing that should have happened episodes ago...but, of course, if the Tomorrow People achieve a big victory, then that'll be the end of the show, so they only manage a small one at best.A potentially interesting character is killed off while the pointless Morgan stays around, for the second episode running. And there's more wearisome "I'll kill you one day but not yet for some reason" dialogue between John and Jedekiah. It's hard not to see the show as stuck in a rut.

The other ongoing plot line is the "Roger's dead, maybe" story. The TPs once again fail to learn anything useful and John's insistence that Jedekiah wouldn't have cremated Roger's body feels like wishful thinking that Stephen and Russell foolishly buy into.At least we get a nice positive scene between Stephen and Cara of the kind that have been pretty rare recently, along with Stephen for once having to go to John for help.

Oh-and the introduction of Marla's new boyfriend, who's probably going to be either an Ultra agent or a telepath or both. The ending suggests the second one but...
