"The Heart" series was very engaging and full of intrigue. It entails romance, love, suspense, greed, crime and personal trials/tribulations. The story starts with establishment of a possible political career for the Assistant States Attorney and the establishment of a business with his sister and her best friend. As the story unfold the ASA and the best friend come together and this was fraught with extreme opposition by the ASA's former dating interest. Add that to the deeds and pitfalls of his job and yes, you get and very engaging and intrigue story line. The story continues on the aforementioned paths and one finds themselves emotionally entangled with these characters and the story. So interested in it continuing, I want to experience the rest of this story.

It has been years since I read a book and was not upset when I saw the movie. Knowing what was to come next then actually seeing it on the screen came me chills.
When you can feel the hurt and see the pain it become more that a book read or a TV show it becomes real. The characters interaction with each other came across as natural.
Did I have a favorite character? Yes, several of them mother Harrison giving sage advice to her children and their friends stands out for me. She never let her loss, pain or hurt stand in the way of of showing them love.
I am looking forward to the next installment of "The Heart Series".

Four episodes into season 2 of the Heart and I am loving!!! Loving the drama romance suspense of this political drama based off of the Heart of Him book by Iris Bolling. Read the book, well actually the Heart book series a few years ago and loved them. It is thrilling to see this book come to life. Episode 4 was explosive.. Douglas just letting James know that he needs to apologize to Ashley. Ashley letting everyone know she was not marrying James after his apology. Too funny. Can't wait for the next two episodes!! Keep up the great work Cast & Crew of The Heart. This is a must see TV show. It great to see positive Black romance. Regular folks moving up in the world positively. Can't wait for season 3 about the book Look Into My Heart.
