Zach Bryan kicked off “The Quittin Time Tour” at United Center in Chicago on Tuesday (March 5th), delivering a 25-song set that spanned across his growing discography and also featured a surprise appearance from Kacey Musgraves.
To begin the show, Bryan played “Overtime” from his most recent studio album, Zach Bryan, and “Open the Gate” off of his 2022 breakout effort, American Heartbreak. Bryan then dipped back to his 2019 debut, DeAnn, to perform “God Speed” before going into his unreleased song “The Great American Bar Scene.”

The country star continued zig-zagging through his catalog, performing some of his biggest songs alongside other favorites like “Nine Ball” and “Oklahoma Smokeshow” and older cuts like “Condemned” and “Heading South.”
Undoubtedly the biggest moment of the evening was when Bryan brought out Musgraves to duet their No. 1 hit (and Consequence Song of the Week), “I Remember Everything,” for the first time ever.

In 1973, the killer of Welsh teenagers Sandra Newton, Pauline Flynn and Gwendoline Hughes was not caught, despite a high-profile and widespread investigation by South Wales Police. The girls’ families spent the next three decades not knowing who was responsible for brutally taking the lives of their loved ones, or whether he still lived alongside them in the local Neath and Port Talbot communities.
In 2002, a development in forensics changed everything. The cold case was reopened with much pared-down resources, and crime scene DNA was successfully used to identify Wales’ first recorded serial killer. Steeltown Murders is the story of the loss, guilt and suspicion that followed the 1970s murders, and of the perseverance of the officers who were eventually able to provide the victims’ families with the answers they’d been denied years before.
Here are the actors making up the cast behind Steeltown Murders‘ dramatisation of real-life figures and events.

It’s always extra frustrating when a biopic falls short, especially if its subject is as compelling as the relationship between two brilliant iconoclasts like Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West.
It’s a shame, too, that many in the audience will get their introduction to Sackville-West via “Vita and Virginia.” In reality, she was an extraordinarily complicated, trailblazing bisexual writer who lived on her own terms regardless of the price to herself or others in her orbit. Here, she comes across as a spoiled and superficial narcissist who is merely, as one character intones amid the film’s plethora of plummy accents, “rahthah hard work.”
As played by Gemma Arterton (also an executive producer), Vita is pure seductress: gorgeous and tempestuous and shockingly modern even by the most decadent standards of 1927. She’s irresistible, in other words, for the contemplative, always-questing Virginia. But Virginia’s Bloomsbury set isn’t as easily swayed.

There’s something that doesn’t click in Chanya Button’s Vita & Virginia, an account of the lesbian romance between sparkling socialite and writer Vita Sackville-West and the great evergreen modernist Virginia Woolf. In London of the 1920s, teetering between convention and bohemianism, their open but still scandalous affair is recounted with physicality and atmosphere. Yet in the end, precious little is revealed and one is left with the feeling that the material needed a different kind of treatment to illuminate its protagonists. Programming a film festival is like having children: you shouldn’t really have a favourite. But at our sixth Loco London Film Festival it’s hard not to highlight Aki Kaurismäki’s Berlin Best Director winner The Other Side of Hope.
That’s partly because, like all of Kaurismäki’s films, it’s beautifully written, acted and filmed, every frame a perfect composition glowing with his signature rich 1950s colour palette. It’s deeply touching too, spiked with deadpan humour and features many of his regular players...

Part of the great work done by BAFTA is in the guidance offered to the new generation of creative artists. It is an essential part of their work, as much as it is an essential part of our cultural identity.
Today we are continuing our ongoing coverage of the BAFTA Breakthrough Brits programme by finding out exactly what made the initiative so important to emerging talent.

Unfortunately for him, he becomes allured by the mysterious woman who shows up (Wasikowska), which starts a dangerous game of chance and chase. Young British director Chanya Button makes a promising debut with a tragicomic tale of two women who set out to disperse the ashes of their late friend
The first feature from Chanya Button sends close friends Seph (Downton Abbey’s Laura Carmichael) and Alex (Chloe Pirrie, best known for Shell) on a road trip with the ashes of their late friend Dan (Jack Farthing). The approach is a blend of comedy of discomfort – a brilliant cameo by Julian Rhind-Tutt is mortifyingly funny – and sober reflection on lives that have reached a turning point. It’s not wholly original, but Burn Burn Burn is nicely acted and emotionally authentic. Button shows real promise as a director.

★★★☆☆ "Try not to fuck it up, but don't worry if you do." Full of late twenties anguish and uncertainty, this rather tongue in cheek mantra could be applied to many aspects of Chanya Button's Burn Burn Burn, a film which champions the notion of trying again, and again, if at first you don't succeed. It's clear throughout the young director's debut feature that this project has been a labour of love both on and off-screen; a meandering tale of trial and error in which she, and a tremendous cast, have invested a great deal.

Exclusive: Road trip comedy to co-star Laura Carmichael and Chloe Pirrie.
Paris-based Urban Distribution International (Udi) has picked up sales on Chanya Button’s upcoming road-trip comedy Burn, Burn, Burn on the eve of its shoot.
Downton Abbey actress Laura Carmichael and Chloe Pirrie (Shell), a Screen Star of Tomorrow and Bafta Breakthrough Brit in 2013, are set to co-star as two friends who travel across Britain to scatter the ashes of their late best friend Dan.
Other cast members include Alison Steadman and Nigel Planer.
The women take turns driving with Dan in the glove compartment, in a tupperware container, decreasing in volume as the trip progresses.
“Burn Burn Burn is the perfect feelgood movie - the one you want to see after a hard day’s work with your best friend, or again on TV and VOD with your mum,” said Udi chief Frederic Corvez.
“It’s funny, insolent, tender, smart...
