For Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, while Brittany Snow's voice is used with archive footage for Namine's voice from the original, Meaghan Martin voices Namine for the Final Mix exclusive cutscene that Namine appears in.
In Kingdom Heart II Final Mix, for the Final Mix-exclusive cutscene involving Roxa's capture, DiZ is voiced by Christopher Lee, from an archived recording from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (as this scene was re-adapted to the latter game as part of that games' ending). While Corey Burton was used in the cinematic version of 358/2 Days as part of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix due to a silent scene involving DiZ from the original Nintendo DS release being redeveloped as a cinematic scene, here it isn't necessary, which allowed Lee's original recording from the Nintendo DS version to be used.
While the English version of Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ (2007) maintains most of the censorship from the original English release of Kingdom Hearts II (2005), the scene of Xigbar merging his two arrowguns into a sniper rifle which was previously censored out in the original English release is now the only exception.
The new HD Cinematics for Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded is the only time that Jim Meskimen does the english voice for the Genie in the series since officially taking on that role for Disney in 2008. Archived audio of Jim's predecessor Dan Castellaneta is still used due to his previous work in Kingdom Hearts II (2005) to which its Final Mix upgrade is part of this HD collection.
Due to the retirement of Phil Snyder from voice acting earlier in 2014, his replacement Joe Ochman performed all of Jiminy's lines for the HD release of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (2010), which also included redubbing all of Snyder's lines (aside from the fact that archived audio of Snyder's predecessor Eddie Carroll was used in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, due to the archived recorded footage from his involvement from Kingdom Hearts II).
