Sophie Turner felt bad for "exhausted" Jennifer Lawrence when they worked on "X-Men: Apocalypse".
The latest X-Men film hits cinemas in May, and reunites fan favourites Jennifer, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy. Sophie, 20, is new to the franchise, but having made her name in hit TV series Game of Thrones, she quickly found some admirers on set.
"Jennifer was like, ‘I’m so excited to work with you, I love Game Of Thrones!’” Sophie smiled to British magazine The Edit.
“She was amazing, a lot of fun. But as she was shooting other movies she went back and forth on weekends, so while the rest of us went out partying she had to work. We all felt bad for her, she was exhausted.”

Nightcrawler: He can teleport with his unique dimension-hopping ability, he's extremely agile, he knows how to handle a saber with expert ease, and he at times has a gleeful sense of humor. The X-Men mutant Nightcrawler has many admirable traits and was memorably portrayed by Alan Cumming in Bryan Singer's X2. One of the benefits of being discovered on a hit TV show is that a chance at a significant movie career is usually in the cards. Actually, it usually only occurs with talent on show that hits the pop culture lexicon. In this case, "Game of Thrones." Sophie Turner has spent the last four years on "GoT" playing Sansa Stark and as any loyal viewer can tell you, she's been put through the ringer. She's seen her father beheaded (poor Ned), been engaged to a mad king against her will, was almost raped and then forced to marry the show's most popular character, Lord Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), who doesn't happen to be that popular in King's Landing. Those key dramatic moments, among others, is just one reason Turner has come to the attention of casting directors, producers, international financiers and movie directors. She's got talent that's ready to be explored in other projects.

Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner has been cast as Mary Shelley in the upcoming film Mary Shelley's Monster.
The film follows the "young writer as she writes her seminal novel and is drawn into a Faustian bargain with her own 'monster' of an alter ego, who offers literary fame at a desperate personal cost."
Jeremy Irvine will play Mary's husband the poet Percy Shelley with Taissa Farmiga as Mary's stepsister Claire Clairmont.
Producer Rose Ganguzza had this to say about the film:
“Our film is not a period drama. It is a story of youth that transcends time, a gothic romance, a love triangle that involves a dark passenger and we are tremendously excited to have such an exciting cast onboard this wonderful project.”
Coky Giedroyc (AMC's The Killing) is set to direct, with filming expected to begin later this year in Malta and the UK.

Treating herself to a relaxing afternoon, Elle Fanning enjoyed a round of retail therapy in Studio City, California on Wednesday (July 30).
Joined by a gal pal, the “Maleficent” actress looked fun and flirty in a bluish-grey crop top with a matching mini skirt as she laughed and chatted along the way.
In career news, Elle has signed on to play the starring role of Mary Shelley in the forthcoming period drama “A Storm in the Stars.”
Producer Amy Baer told the Hollywood Reporter, "Elle is amazingly smart and talented and very much relates to Mary as a young woman. She is going to do something extraordinary in this role that will transition her from a compelling young adult to a formidable leading lady."...

Now here is an interesting piece of indie film news. Haifaa Al-Mansour, the first female director to come out of Saudi Arabia, has plans to direct Elle Fanning as the writer Mary Shelley in A Storm in the Stars. Just take a moment and let that sink in.
A Storm in the Stars will tell the story of the then-17 year old Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley’s relationship with the poet Percy Shelley, leading to her becoming his second wife. The script is said to mainly concern the difficulties of Mary’s life, her first love, and grappling with a culture out of step with her concerns. Her parents were Mary Wollstonecraft, an early feminist who penned A Vindication of the Rights of Women, and philosopher William Godwin. Mary Shelley was raised by her father to liberal political views, and eventually met and began an affair with the poet Percy Shelley...
