- Quotes
Liv Moore: Javier's brain shows me a view of the world that's brighter, more vibrant. I can't let Lola diminish that view. I'm not ready to go back to a world without that light. I want this feeling to last. I want to leave something more than impressive report cards to remember me by. There is so much beauty in the world. And that's all that matters. Inspiration, love. The heart wants what it wants. Who are we to deny it ?

Paint it black
The second episode of iZombie shows us more clearly how the show may turn out to be. We already know the characters, and their basic interrelationships, so we can start with the case of the week.
This time Olivia eats the brains of a well known painter and womanizer, so we enjoy her discovering a sense for the arts and seduction. It is interesting to see that Rose McIver will have to stretch her acting muscles taking on different characteristics in each episode. In this one it was better done than the kleptomaniac's trait from the first episode. Specially with the interrogation to one of the subjects she does with Clive Babineaux.
The mystery is interesting enough, but the way the visions offer the clues could be better handled, as they offer too much information to solve the case. But the shows seems to be offering a nice and balanced tone between mystery and comedy, with a touch of horror, even if it is still finding its footing.
The weakest link so far is the other zombie, David Anders's Blaine DeBeers, whose story doesn't seem so interesting so far.
