- Quotes
Rita Haywith: When I was scared at the local branch competition, Norman told me how things that have a hard exoskeleton, well, they can't be squashed. He always knows exactly what to say.
Ardis Paine: Nothing says, 'I love you,' like crabs.
Featured review
This is the story of two abandoned boys and the separation of two brother.
This is a story about two abandoned children...the recipient of a letter (Joshua) and Norman. Norman finds his grandmother, Mrs. Parker Pennington Paine (played by the incomparable Carol Burnett).
"It's so you never forget how brave and unsquashable you are."-Norman.
"Honey, I'm nuttier than a fruitcake. It runs in the family."-Ardis Paine.
Lots of reunions in this episode...but the ending! I understand why they had to go on and make movies...and I am really glad how they pan out.
This is a beautiful show and this episode is no exception.
