Leland Owlsley and Wilson Fisk have a meeting in Melvin Potter's workshop. During their discussion Owlsley can be seen getting his measurements done for a new green suit. This is a nod to the comics version of Owlsley, also known as the super villain/crime lord The Owl, who usually wears a green cape that lets him glide through the air.
The Gladiadores poster on the wall where Leland Owlsley is being fitted for a suit is taken from the cover of "Daredevil" (vol.1) #226 (albeit with a different person pictured instead of Daredevil). Gladiadores is Spanish for Gladiator, the name Melvin Potter takes when he dons a costume and battles Daredevil.
This is the first time in which Wilson Fisk wears something resembling his famous white suit.
While Ben Urich watches Wilson Fisk give his press conference, on the shelf below his television is the book by Barry Seigal called "A Death at White Bear Lake," which is about a famous child abuse case in Minnesota. The child abuse doled out to a young Wilson Fisk is depicted earlier.
The music playing during the opening scene where Fisk is cooking is JS Bach Cello Suite Number 1 in G Major and the theme for Chef's Table (2015).
