Quotes

  • One : What's your name?

The Android : I possess no personal designation.

Six : Yeah, yeah, there's a lot of that going around.

One : Why did you attack us?

The Android : I have no memory of such an attack.

Two : The reboot must've wiped her data stores.

Three : Well, ain't that convenient.

  • Six : Those people will die if we don't help them.

    Four : They're already dead.

Three : He doesn't say much, but when he does, it makes sense.

Four : If their enemy is even half as powerful as they believe, then they're doomed.

One : The least we can do is give them a fighting chance.

Three : I'm pretty sure the least we can do is nothing. Which, for the record, is what I'm suggesting we do.

  • Nassan : Who are you? Why are you here?

One : Yeah, I was afraid those questions might come up.

Mireille : They're not Corporate Guard. They could be Hrothgar's people.

Nassan : Did Hrothgar send you?

    Six : Maybe?

  • Three : I vote that we keep the weapons, we sell them, take what we make to stay alive, and find out what the hell happened to us.

    Four : Agreed.

One : I think we do what we know we came here to do, complete the delivery.

Six : He's right. I say we help those people.

    One : Thank you.

Five : Yeah, me too, I want to help those people.

Three : Wait a minute, she can't vote.

    Five : [Offended]  Why not?

    Three : Cause you're a kid.

Six : She's a member of this crew.

Three : Who's a kid, what are you, like, 15 years old?

Two : Do we really have to have a vote to decide if she gets to vote?

Three : [Holds his hand up]  I vote against her voting!

  • Five : [to Two, indicating the screen]  Why is that flashing red?

[in the lower right corner, "PROTOCOL 352-7 INITIATED" is slowly pulsing through intensities of red]

Two : That's strange. The ship's computer just initiated some sort of security protocol.

[in the hold, Three flies sideways, screaming, into some crates against a bulkhead, the impact rendering him unconscious. A blond woman, who he found in stasis moments ago, looks on emotionlessly. A short-barrel shotgun is suddenly cocked and pointed at her back]

    Six : Hey there.

[the Woman turns around to face Six and deftly bats the gun out of his hand. He pulls a pistol from his right hip, but she knocks it away just as easily, then pulls his other pistol off his left hip, tosses it aside, and shoves him with inhuman strength, propelling him backward at least 12 feet into other cargo crates before he can react]

Six : [from the floor]  This is Six! We're under attack!

Two : [on the bridge]  By *who*?

Two : [activates her comms]  Under attack by *who*?

[Six doesn't respond: the emotionless woman - with some kind of barcode tattoo on her neck - is not one of them]

  • Six : [Three picks up a gun]  Expecting trouble?

    Three : Hoping!

  • Three : Guys, we found food, who wants?

    [Tosses over packages]

Six : [Takes a bite]  Gah! Are you sure?

    Three : It's close enough.

  • Five : What are you doing?

Six : Looking for something to treat a headache.

Five : Headaches can be caused by blood vessel abnormalities or brain tumors.

Six : How do you know that?

    Five : I don't know. I just do.

    [Continues]

Five : A tumor is a mass of cells that multiplies uncontrollably. The human body creates twenty-five million new cells every second. And its kidneys process one hundred and eighty liters of blood every day. Blood will spurt up to two meters when the carotid artery is severed. It's a very efficient killstroke.

    Six : [Weirded out]  Uh-huh.
