Oddball Australian short
This Australian short film features Nicholas Hope the star of the cult movie Bad Boy Bubby. It takes the form of a mockumentary about a man who fantasises about being a serial killer who rapes and kills women and is known by the moniker the 'Confessor Caressor'. In reality he is a disturbed individual who spent time in an institution but is a hoax merchant who did not actually commit any of the crimes he likes to take credit for. The location where he claimed to have carried out his misdeeds is a place he calls his 'church', which is a dilapidated public toilet decorated by weird wall paintings. During the course of the film, an off-screen man questions him about his motives.
I can't say I found much to particularly like in this one. Its main character is somewhat irritating and I didn't see too much of a point in it all. It's unusual I suppose so does have that going for it. But it's difficult to care too much as I think in order to do so you will have to find the central character an interesting one. I found him to be a bit of a creepy pillock though unfortunately.
