By this point 'Miranda' was airing on Christmas Day, one of the big things for the BBC over the festive season, and this was part 1 of the 2 finale specials.
It's a good episode, resolving the S3 cliff-hanger and pushing forward after that. I could've done without the flashbacks, and the depth added to the character of Gary all of a sudden feels a bit forced, but on the whole this is a lot of fun and very enjoyable.
