It's a documentary about various people in the inner city who finds new purpose in gardening. This is more than a gardening show. Sometimes those have pretty pictures of flowers, bees, and beautiful plants. The beauty in this film exists in the people and their lives. Who doesn't love the little girl? I'm struck when Spicey says, "Dreams ain't nothin' but thoughts to me... I don't even use the word." That's profound poetry. Like a garden, this can be poetry if given a little patients.
