Great

I loved Boy Meets World, and I am enjoying this new spin off series. After the first season it started out slow but now in season 2 we are getting to see the return of stars from the original series. Mr. Turner returning as someone in authority was very cool. Cant want to see who shows up next as this series roles on. I still want to see as much more of Mr. Feeney as they can put into the show. I would have to say also that this series takes a show like that it came off of and bring it to a new generation of fans that don't know much about Corey and Topanga and how they met. We see it not from a boys point of view but now from a girls point a view with a character that it is similar to a different character from the other show.

New and familiar face (Spoiler!)

Warning: Spoilers
This was a good episode. First, I learned a few things watching it. I didn't know that in 1985, the NY Board of Education outlawed striking kids with a ruler. I tried looking it up, but had no luck. I also learned that 19 other states haven't outlawed this practice. Whether good or bad isn't the issue, it's still fascinating information. And he's back! Mr. Turner is back! It definitely caught me off guard. First Angela returns this season and now Mr. Turner? Wow! And his character is just the same as he was in the 90s, props to consistency. Riley and Maya receive a 2015 female version of Mr. Turner in Ms. Burgess using unconventional means to teach her students. This is an important episode for Americans to watch because most Americans and their politicians see this world in a manichaeistic prism/black and white/good and bad world view. This episode conveys that the real world in general is more gray than the overwhelming majority of Americans are aware and willing to admit. Good episode.

Love It!

Warning: Spoilers
It's rare in this show like its predecessor that we see more than one teacher in the original it was pretty much always Feeny until Turner came along and at one point we did see their chemistry teacher but other than that we never actually saw the other teachers. So when we do see other teachers we know it's important to what is going on in the story. The same is true in Girl Meets World because we usually only see Cory and occasionally Ms. Kossal the art teacher because she is a valuable part of Maya's personal arc but as of this episode with the arrival of Harper Burgess we see another teacher who uses unconventional methods to teach her class and as a result has a powerful impact on her students much like Turner did with Shawn specifically. Speaking of Turner this episode finally fills Boy Meets World fans in on what the heck happened to him after he disappeared after his accident in "Cult Fiction". Apparently he moved to New York and presumably continued to teach until he worked his way up to being Superintendent of Schools and as such he is the one who hired Cory so seeing him step in to assist when things get tense is neat because it's easy to see the parallels between him and Harper. For me though my favorite part was when he was having dinner with the Matthews and Maya and Maya asked him about Shawn and if he actually cared about Shawn even though they weren't really related, he responded "Yes,I did Maya I loved him like a son. I still do." Which pleased Maya since I imagine she was wondering if it was possible for Shawn to actually care about her in a real way.

Best Episode By Far!!

Warning: Spoilers
I am a huge Boy Meets World fan. I grew up with the later seasons and I have also watched every episode. This episode of Girl Meets World just blew me away!! My favorite cameo by far and a great lesson for Riley and Maya. I knew they were referencing Mr. Turner and I knew Mr. turner was coming back for a cameo sometime this season, so I just knew it had to be soon. SPOILER!: He made his appearance. I knew he was coming in when they said one magical line in the show. I will not tell you what it was, I already spoiled enough for you. But.... If you are a giant Boy Meets World fan, watch it!

So,... Based off of my opinion, I give it 10 stars, 100 cookies and a wonderful review. Watch the episode. You won't regret it.
