Not much story in it
Gordon-114 October 2016
This short film tells the story of a divorced Swiss man who takes his son to the biggest dam in Europe for a weekend break. They initially both looked forward to this trip, but once the son mentions his mother, the trip takes a dramatic turn.

There is not much time for the plot to be complex, or tell a long story. The plot is simple, which is mainly about the father not being able to deal with his own emotions, and acts out. The scenery is beautiful, the picture quality is clear, the son is cute. However, the story itself could be more interesting, as I think there is really not much story in this short film.

inspired minimalism

A minimalistic story about a father, his son, their trip to dam and a crisis moment. Beautiful photography, great acting and a storytelling more for reflection. Beautiful in profound sense and a splendid clash between Pascal Gravat, giving a complex, dark-touching portrait of father and the young Alessio Balossi. So, just beautiful, profound and enough delicate bitter.
