Quirky Irish Saga, Freezing Tundra, Asian Hippie Movement

Peppers voice ... well you decide. Well dressed Femini-moms acting on a stone castle ruin in Ireland- make-up, and clothing all counter to realism. And Peppers voice... Eat leaves like we vegan lasses, drink water from a babbling brook, weather goes from Cloudy to Blue between dialogue in same scenes... did I mention the voice of main character, Pepper? Try it if you love Irish landscape- story is of lore or magic in today's world and the island of permafrost is scenic... but that voice? Awkward acting makes me think this is placed a notch below a Halmark Channel movie, but in its oddity, it could be an ok watch for some. For the other 90% of us... better off to keep looking. The good is the episodes are quite short (20min) ... 2nd episode is mostly in Japanese- so get the reading glasses and the give-Up point for me was the Combo- genre music of Japanese / Irish Hip Hop, Rap music trying to encompass mood- but evokes that word again, AwkwArd - u are warned...

A show about magic, with little magic
Danj-Schutz13 December 2018
Think Black Mirror but with magic....then take all the magic out of it and you have this babbling nonsense. No cohesion throughout any of the shows and very little magic. Seriously, the creators must have been high.

Hoo boy is this bad

Wow. WAY lo production values. Acting is all over the place. Writing is horrible. Directing worse. This is amateur hour.

Make your own decision!

I personally enjoyed watching it and would like to see more. What I think would be best though is if they took the pilot episode and continued the series from that! I think it has a lot of potential by itself. The other episodes were ok, but they could really expand with the hunting of the people with magical powers and how they defend themselves from the government.

Boring drama in a magic-based society
jarrodsanders-768818 December 2018
People have magic abilities in this universe, yet we hear more about veganism and bi-racial, lesbian relationships in the first 10 minutes than we do about anything related to magic. Very slow-paced drama with magic as the backdrop. The camera quality was ok. The acting was decent. The plot was so slow to develop that I turned the show off, choosing instead to stare at my turtle.

Surprisingly dynamic

I love the emphasis on storytelling and esoteric theme. Well done, captivating, and thought provoking.

Anthology series
theknownames15 December 2018
So this is an anthology series, which I appreciate. Each episode is different, unique in-fact; they involve magic l hope there will be more than three episodes.

Couldn't make it past the first episode
lisawatson-5965912 September 2019
I think I've watched every tv series or getting close. I'm not picky at all. It doesn't take much to entertain me. I'm the type of the person who recommends watching at least two episodes of a tv show before making any decisions of its worthiness. However, I can't do it! I'm 20 minutes into the first episode for the second time! I understand a show needs to develop a plot but the acting...the storyline...it's horrific...I just don't like it.

Hoping for future episodes!
rosemoonlooms20 August 2019
I can't recall the first episode. I love the second episode. I watched it twice and will definately watch it again. I very rarely, if ever, watch anything twice, let alone 3 times. I very, very much enjoyed tbe 3rd episode despite having zero cultural awareness for the theme. I am looking forward to future episodes as they explore the earth healers in their functions in various cultures. I cant wait to see how they all unite.

It is difficult to rate this as a WHOLE
urhere-519-5379412 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
It is difficult to rate this as a WHOLE when what we have are various parts. I would have loved to see an episode that would prepare the Watchers that they would travel the world to find the sources of magic, the power that would be the driving force of the Earth Spirit the Magic of Gaia so to speak. Keep your eyes open for connections from 1 episode to another...i thought the Labyrinth made a cameo appearance in the Mongolian episode (I apologize if my assumption of cultural beginning to that episode is incorrect). Once a connection episode established, Then would have been great to see a Native American episode, one from Central/South American or Caribbean/Islander....pull Protectors from maybe each of the continents to come show the "Storyteller" how to help create a better story for those in danger. Would love to see other episodes then an interwoven cohesive continuation with The Soryteller, The Protectors, The Watchers, and the natural Helpers along the way, if that makes sense.

Love the ethnicity
jayers-hammersource29 December 2018
I was surprised this wasn't a fantasy series, rather the concept of magic/spirit being brought to the real world. Loved how they brought different ethnic views, I hope there will be more.
