"Holy hell," I thought when I realized exactly where this episode was going, "they're doing this." Don't be fooled by the childish title, this is an incredibly mature episode. It's actually the second most mature episode of comedy. Only Ep#102 of the same show can beat it. That is, of course, "Bojack Hates the Troops." Now that is daring. But so was this, and it came awfully close. Maybe that's what the show does best; pushing boundaries. Like "Family Guy," only it's decent television.
It's interesting how the episode about an abortion isn't about Diane getting or not getting an abortion. It's about a celebrity getting or not getting one and how the media handles things like that. In fact, I love that. No one gives Diane any (IMDb is not okay with this word) about getting an abortion, and it's incredibly interesting and, I think, a good decision by the writers. That being said, they handled a sensitive topic with just enough ridiculousness to make it funny.
Also, on the Bojack side of things, it's a little less intelligent, but still not bad and very entertaining.
Third in Season Three's streak of 8-star episodes.
