This is one of the better "Bojack Horseman" episodes to ever hit screens. Between Bojack and Todds enthralling wedding crash, full of equal parts hilarity and heartbreak, Diane's perfectly-written drug session, and later her beautiful heart-to-heart with Mr. Peanut Butter, and Carolyn's date with her seemingly perfect match in a mouse, of all animals, this was one for the ages. This is going to be an episode I will re-watch time and time again.
Of course, the surprise at the end was well-placed and left me saying, "well, I can't possibly stop here, now can I?" Bojack and Todd's friendship never felt more natural (excepting "Out to Sea"), and the title works on a surprising number of levels. Also, we meet the love of Todd's life in 2016 finally, and it pays off immensely. It's always great when two characters have so much chemistry with each other, and it usually doesn't happen in animation, but it does here, and it's amazing.
It doesn't quite beat its predecessor, but to be fair, "Fish Out of Water" was an incredibly tough act to follow, and it did a very good job. But even Pink Floyd can't follow the Beatles.
