Jamie Lee Curtis desperately wants to play Dr. Kureha in Season 2 of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the manga (and anime) “One Piece,” and it sounds like the team behind the show is just as desperate to have her onboard. After Curtis announced on Instagram that she intends to ask for the role once the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes have concluded, showrunner Matt Owens commented, “Mommy dearest, that’s why we sent you that figure! Owens continued, “Once we get what we deserve and get back to work, let’s talk!”
