Moho House is a great Simpsons episode with a very well written plot and a bunch of very funny moments. The stakes are really risen here as we find ourselves feeling in real jeopardy over Marge and Homer's relationship. This time around, not only are they having marital troubles, but a bet is taking place, meaning people are trying to break them up, it was intriguing to watch as it took a common Homer and Marge plot line, and spun it on its head in an interesting way.
I did find that it could have done with a side story. Though I did enjoy it, I simply did not find it to be one of those plots that really stands on its own, a seperate shenanigan to diverge from the main plot every now and then would have been worthwhile.
The highlight of this episode for me is certainly Mr. Burns' scenes, he is always a joy to watch as it is clear the writers have fun with him, and Michael York also makes a splendid return as Nigel, whom he had some great dialogue with.
Good fun. Moho House is certainly not a groundbreaking Simpsons by any means, but an enjoyable watch.
While Homer and Marge work on their marriage, Mr. Burns holds a secret bet on whether a wealthy friend of his can break them apart.
