Watch it for the inspiring and touching ending!
rtoac117 June 2023
This is a Marathi language film with a historical basis.

The film is about the efforts of a few committed Maharashtrians who leave no stone unturned in trying to retrieve Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's sword from the British museum.

The film has comic scenes running throughout to keep things light while progressing on the story. Performances are very good especially for the comic timing.

Even if you don't watch enough time to watch the whole film, please do watch the last 10 minutes. It is bound to leave every Maharashtrian and Bharathiya in tears.

We have been handed over a proud legacy - it is our duty to protect and enhance it. That's the overall message of the film - one that every viewer should carry forward!

An amazing movie!

In This movie, they have shown the pure love of a maharashtrian towards the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. A very innocent face of Jeetu can be seen in the movie. He has nothing to do with the Indian politics but he wants to a powerful politician just to give a tribute to Shivaji's forts. The end of the movie could have been better but I would still say it's worth watching twice!

a good thought wasted by poor script and direction,

how in the world this movie is rated 8.7?? agree the movie's concept and thought is very good but that's it. there is nothing interesting about the movie, its too preachy. this film tries hard to be a political satire but fails. it does have few funny moments and jeetendra joshi's honest performance. the screenplay is too bad two songs right before the climax add up to the frustation. the villain who also happens to be the director is a proper example of miscasting. the role just didn't fit him and he over does it. you can watch it for only jeetu's sincere performance. but if ur watching it for the love of chatrapathi shivaji maharaj, the film lets u down just like the politicians of our country who do politics in his name
