A Great Soundtrack
Pretty Good for a Blind White Boy: The Music of 'Road House' (2016)
*** (out of 4)
This nine minute featurette has director Rowdy Herrington and actors Kelly Lynch, John Doe, Julie Michaels, Marshall Teague, Red West and Kevin Tighe talking about the music used in the film. This here is really a tribute to Jeff Healey who sadly died at a very young age. The actors talk about what it was like on the set as the band would often play in between the shots just to keep the crew spirited and enjoying themselves. The director talks about how Healey got involved with the production as well. One wishes that more details had been on the actual soundtrack to the film but if you're a fan of the music then you'll enjoy what stories are here.
