- MacGyver comes face to face with Murdoc, an international assassin hired to kill him, he must defend both himself and Bozer, armed with only a corkscrew and paper towel rolls.
- Thornton wants the team to apprehend an elusive assassin. They think they know who his target is but the man gets away and they discover that his actual target is Mac. The assassin later goes to Bozer and holds him captive, then calls Mac. Mac shows up and saves Bozer but the man gets away. Bozer finally learns who Mac really is. When they get a lead on the man, Thornton tells Mac, she, Jack and Riley will handle it, and he'll stay behind. But when they get there, the man traps them. - Phoenix finally learns that an elusive, never-identified world class hit-man is in L.A. Mac's team is sent to protect the presumed mark, but soon learn that the contract includes Mac himself. His naive housemate and youth friend Bozer gets the scare of his life being little more the a lure, and proves an ingrate bad sport blaming Mac after his skin is saved. The killer, who works under many pseudonyms, gets away and Thornton foolishly orders duly protesting Mac to hide, only to have the others trapped and Mac challenged, with prize as rare worthy adversary, to save their necks by risking his own against the killer who prefers the name Murdoc.—KGF Vissers
