Lucifer goes to the beach

Sadly, this episode doesn't sustain the drama of the mid-season finale. It's back to the regular mystery for this one. Still it's a fun time. The writer was game with the surf world.

Not to mention all the characters get some nice storylines. I didn't expect Cain to be as clueless about Lucifer's wings and the Sinnerman's plan as he was. I'm curious to see where his and Lucifer's deal will take them.

Ella was pretty entertaining in this too, dealing in several different ways with how Cain treated her. When she was first introduced, I didn't know what to make of her or see the point of her introduction. Now, I can't see the show without her. She is a quirky breath of fresh air.

another great episode

Really like the starting of the episode about Cain and Lucifer's talking. Really like seeing Lucifer getting so worked up. Didn't think that Dan is into surfing. And really didn't like Ella being so down. It really is funny to listen to Lucifer mention Trixe as "needy offspring" and other names he likes mentioning her by. Well Pierce is right that Ella talks too much but thats what Ella is about. It is her charm that makes Ella , Ella. Lol, never expected an angel getting chlamydia(Turns out it was a false alarm). Amanediel is acting more like Lucifer in that department than Lucifer himself. I really find it funny how Lucifer always end up upsetting Dan whenever he speak to him. But Lucifer really needs to listen to others fully before getting to his own conclusion but that will not be Lucifer we like. Really sure that Lucifer helping Chloe with the case files on her desk might have resulted in the increase of her work load instead of reducing it. If Cain didn't make Lucifer's wings appear then who did? God? and if god, why? Really want to know more about this in the upcoming episodes. Would have been nice if the title of the episode was "A Deal with the Devil".

The latest murder investigation involves surfers on a local beach, where residents are trying to ensure that it remains exclusive and private.

Lucifer as is his want was working to his own agenda in tracking down the Sinerman, using lateral thinking he deduced that instead of being the Master criminal, he was instead merely an accomplice of a far bigger villain.

Someone who had managed to create a whole new identity for themselves, becoming well established into the very fabric of society itself.

As he becomes closer to actually realising his true identity, Lucifer can't exactly open up about the realities involved and he has to find out their, real motivation in order to decide how best to deal with them.

Cain/Surfing

Cain yelled at Ella which leaves her somber and quiet. Ella later confessed she got yelled at by Cain for talking so much.

Amenadiel finds out he has a sexually transmitted disease. He has chlamydia.

Lucifer talks with Cain, the first murderer of the earth. Cain is sick for living thousands of years since the beginning. He wants to die and thought Chloe can do it because Lucifer bleeds because of her. Cain and Lucifer make a deal that Lucifer will try to do everything he can to kill Cain.
