Randy Orton
One reason for Randy Orton’s polarizing reputation stems from his portrayal as a real-life antagonist for a significant portion of his career. Terms like juvenile, immature, and unprofessional have been associated with the Viper due to various incidents over the years. It’s worth noting that many of these occurrences took place earlier in his career when he was still maturing as an individual. In fact, Orton once spent 38 days in a military prison when he was a Marine.

There are “child stars,” and then there are performers that start working during childhood only to become bona fide, beloved screen icons, enjoying long, varied careers throughout their lives. Following in the footsteps of Shirley Temple, Natalie Wood and Mickey Rooney, Macaulay Culkin has — for three decades and counting — been a contemporary standard bearer for that personal and professional journey.
Culkin became a full-fledged cultural phenomenon after the explosive commercial success of his fifth film, 1990’s “Home Alone,” which he made when he was just 10 years old. The film grossed $476 million worldwide, due in direct part to his mischievous-yet-vulnerable performance as Kevin McAllister. But beginning in his teenage years, Culkin began seeking projects that piqued his artistic interests rather than sustaining his immediate and colossal celebrity. Even without any expectation for those subsequent efforts to reach the same stratospheric heights as his early breakthrough, Culkin’s star wattage has barely flickered,...

Despite still being one of the most recognizable child stars of all time, Macaulay Culkin prefers to stay out of the spotlight these days. In a rare interview, Culkin opened up about his childhood acting in hit movies and how stories about him “divorcing” his parents were blown way out of proportion.

Culkin began acting when he was just 4 years old, appearing onstage and in small parts in TV shows and movies. His big break came with 1989’s Uncle Buck, but it wasn’t until the following year, with the release of Home Alone, that Culkin became a household name. His role earned him a Golden Globe nomination and an American Comedy Award.

Hulu’s list of new releases for March 2023 features an event long in the making.
On March 6, History of the World, Part II will finally arrive more than 40 years after Mel Brooks’ classic comedy History of the World, Part I. first premiered. Of course, Brooks never had any intention of adding future parts to his ahistorical film, but that yet makes the arrival of Part II so many years later even funnier. Described as a four-night comedy event, History of the World, Part II will release two episodes a day through March 9. Brooks returns to write and executive produce this series and will star alongside Nick Kroll, Wanda Sykes, and Ike Barinholtz. Guest stars include…everyone. Basically just everyone.

It’s ironic but unavoidable that the greatest annual celebration of film should be a television special — but that’s just how it is. March often means Oscar season, a time for cinephiles to boot up that small screen you use for movies and use it to see if they win any awards during a telecast.
If you don’t have TV service anymore, Hulu has you covered with a pre-Oscars telecast as well as two red carpet specials before and after the main event. Though the ceremony itself won’t be livestreamed on Hulu, it will be added the next morning, like regular ABC programming. Awards viewership has been in general decline over the past several years, but next-day streaming gives curious viewers a chance to join the conversation and boost those Oscar ratings after the live show. It’s also a chance for superfans to pause and rewind...

Since that first acting class 4-year-old Brenda Song begged her grandmother to enroll her in, the now-33-year-old has been steadily building one of the most well-rounded careers in Hollywood—collecting parts on the Disney Channel (most notably Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody), on network TV and in movies. Well, it's official now - Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin are indeed engaged. After Song was spotted wearing a diamond ring on that finger last week, the "Dollface" actor casually confirmed the news in an interview with The Cut, referring to Culkin as her "fiancé."
Song and Culkin first got together in 2017 after meeting on the set of their film "Changeland." In April 2021, they announced the birth of their son, Dakota, whom they named after Culkin's late sister. "I feel incredibly lucky," Song told The Cut about balancing her acting career with motherhood. "It makes it easier when you love what you do and you know your child is in good hands."

Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin are the newest celeb parents, welcoming their son, Dakota Song Culkin, on April 5. For most of their four-year romance, they've kept things pretty low-key, to the point that plenty of people reacted with surprise that they were even a couple, let alone having a kid together! The story behind their meeting, though, is a Hollywood tale as old as time.
Like so many people in showbiz, Brenda and Macaulay actually met at work. In 2017, they both were cast in the movie Changeland, directed by Seth Green, a mutual friend and colleague. The movie - eventually released in 2019 - is an indie dramedy about a man (played by Green) who visits a longtime friend in Thailand for a change in scenery and some partying after going through an unexpected personal crisis. Macaulay plays Ian, a tour-boat owner with a huge personality, and Brenda plays Pen, a tour guide.

Ryan Murphy revealed how he convinced Macaulay Culkin to join the cast of Season 10 of “America Horror Story,” and it involves the promise of some very interesting scenes with co-star Kathy Bates.
“I have always loved Macaulay Culkin’s work. I loved everything that he’s done, I love the stuff he did in ‘Home Alone,’ I also loved the sort of the older, more recent stuff that he did. And he hasn’t worked in a while,” the “Hollywood” creator said in a recent interview with E! News.
“So, I have this very, very great insane part. And I asked to speak to him on the phone and he said Ok,” Murphy continued. “[When] I cast, I never let people read things, usually. I said, ‘Ok, here’s the pitch.’ And I told [him] the character and I told him he has crazy, erotic sex with Kathy Bates and does other things.

Macaulay Culkin is the surprise name amongst the announced cast for FX’s American Horror Story Season 10.
American Horror Story, which is now pushing a decade on the air, may be a television institution that’s seemingly done it all across its various anthology iterations, but the long-in-the-tooth Ryan Murphy-created FX series is proving that it’s thirsty for more with the surprise announcement of its tenth season cast, revealing former child superstar Macaulay Culkin!
Murphy, in what has become a tradition, personally unveiled the ensemble lineup for American Horror Story Season 10 on his Instagram with a teaser video for the untitled anthology iteration. Macaulay Culkin opened up about his relationship with Michael Jackson and other personal topics in a rare interview with Esquire.
The former child actor starred in Jackson’s music video for “Black and White,” and became close friends with him. Jackson later faced allegations of sexually abusing boys, but Culkin maintained that he had never seen him do anything inappropriate.
“I’m gonna begin with the line — it’s not a line, it’s the truth — he never did anything to me,” Culkin told Esquire. “I never saw him do anything. And especially at this flash point in time, I’d have no reason to hold anything back. The guy has passed on. If anything–I’m not gonna say it would be stylish or anything like that–but right now is a good time to speak up. And if I had something to speak up about, I would totally do it.

At an event in Cannes on Friday, the Tfo said that the scheme is functioning well and that the Thai production industry is on course for a record year. In the first quarter of 2019, Thailand has already been used as a location for 28 feature films, with an aggregate local spend of more than $40 million.
“While producers are benefiting from the incentives, Thailand is also benefiting from the arrival of film and television productions. From the crews and facility companies, right through to hotels, domestic transport and the hospitality industry, the revenue earned through servicing international productions benefits many,” said Anan Wongbenjarat, deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism & Sport.

‘Tis the season to be Macaulay Culkin!
The former child star, now 38, stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night and dished on why he gets more action this time of year. His girlfriends love to watch Home Alone with him by their side.
After reminiscing about how he “had to go to work at 4 a.m. as a 10 year-old — it was great!” the actor joked that he gets recognized during the holiday season because TV networks are always playing Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, the films that made him a household name.

Thailand has announced the first foreign movies to have successfully accessed the country’s new filming financial incentive scheme: comedic drama “Changeland,” directed by and starring Seth Green, and multinational action film “Triple Threat,” directed by Jesse Johnson. The two productions tapped into the new scheme and received payment after shooting in locations and studios in Thailand.
The incentive system was announced in Cannes in 2016 after years of lobbying at different levels of the Thai and international industry. The incentive for qualifying productions starts at 15% of Thai production spend and can rise to 20% under certain conditions.
The first two successful films were announced at an event in Cannes by Thailand’s deputy prime minister Wissanu Kreangam.
“Coordinating with other government departments and ministries before launching the incentive measures, we took a great deal of time to ensure that our incentives are rock-solid. We are delighted that the process went smoothly for the first two productions,...

Macaulay Culkin Doesn’t Watch ‘Home Alone’ During Christmas, Goes Out Less to Avoid Being Recognized
Macaulay Culkin just wants to be left alone during the Christmas holiday season. The 37-year-old actor revealed during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres that he refuses to watch “Home Alone” during Christmas and finds it both “flattering and creepy” when people ask to watch his 1990 family comedy with him.
“I don’t really watch them all that often,” Culkin said, replying, “No, not really” when asked if he watches the holiday classic on Christmas like many fans do each year. “It’s my season….It’s Macaulay season. I try to go out less and less around that time of year.”
Culkin admitted he can no longer watch the film like many do with an endearing outlook. He said he avoids going out a lot during the Christmas season because he gets recognized more than usual and is often asked to make his character’s legendary screaming face.

Thailand hosted a record number of international feature film productions in 2017.

Thailand capital Bangkok
The country attracted 80 projects, a significant increase on last year’s number of 50. The previous record was 67 in 2013.
Thailand launched a 15-20% film tax incentive for productions that spend at least $1.5m in May 2016. Since then, two productions have utilised the incentive, and the country’s film office expects this figure to rise in 2018.
The two productions to use the incentive in 2017 were - Tony Jaa-starring action thriller Triple Threat, a Us-China-Thailand co-pro, and Seth Green’s Us comedy-drama Changeland.
“We have worked hard in 2017 to spread the message throughout the industry that Thailand not only offers great locations, fantastic crews, and incredible value, but also that we now have an incentive, based on a straightforward cash rebate. We are confident that next year we will see a number of productions taking advantage of the incentive...

Get ready for some films by the Robot Chicken crew, because that's exactly what you're about to get. Stoopid Buddy Studios, who is currently in post-production for its first live-action feature Changeland, has signed a "first-look" two-year deal with 20th Century Fox that includes animated films and family films according to Variety.
The latter sounds weird if you're one of those people who only watches Robot Chicken, but the studio also makes the children's show Buddy Thunderstruck for Netflix, and it's pretty great as well. Currently, the studio is getting ready to make its first project for Fox, which currently is simply called "Sword".
I'm excited for a future of Stoopid Buddy making movies, what about you?...

After years in the business, Seth Green is making his directorial debut. His film, Changeland, follows a hesitant man (portrayed by Green) who travels to Thailand to meet up with his confident buddy, who will be played by Breckin Meyer.
Variety also notes that former Disney star Brenda Song will be involved, Macaulay Culkin, and WWE star Randy Orton will be involved as well. That's a pretty crazy cast, but really just in the sense that you have so many people from so many different backgrounds collaborating on a film.
The film is described as a dramedy, and I can't wait to see what tale Green can tell us coming out of Thailand. We'll keep you posted as we learn more.
