Perfect?!

Going to go ahead and give this music video the perfect 10/10 because honestly I don't think it could be any better. Unmatched vibe, awesome song, and just four bad ass chicks from the moulin rouge.

Warning: Spoilers
In this "film"s title "Christina Aguilera Feat. Lil Kim, Mya, P!Nk: Lady Marmalade", you can read the names of all the singers and the song title. You can also add Missy Elliott to that, even if she is not wearing any burlesque dress. It runs for 4.5 minutes and was directed by Paul Hunter, a very prolific music video director back in 2001, so over 15 years ago, and also still today, who has worked a great deal especially with African American artists. But also it says nothing too positive about him that even with these somewhat known songs and music videos under his belt, and there are more than this one, he has not managed the transition to actually becoming a film director. Anyway, except a crush on Mya back then, I have no real feelings or sypathies for anybody from the quartet/quintet. I am also not a fan of the film Moulin Rouge featured in here and the over-the-top costumes and sets didn't do too much for me either. Also no idea why Aguilera is mentioned first and seperated from the others here, which is pretty disrespectful as her contribution definitely isn't bigger than the one from the other three. And finally a word on Pink or P!nk as she also calls herself cringeworthily: Anybody who sees her in here will understand that she is just another puppet on a string and that nothing about that punk rebel outlaw image is real or authentic. She's like Avril Lavigne, but older. All fabricated. The song is kinda catchy admittedly at times, but there is just too much negative stuff linked to this one here. If you wanna go for it really, listen to the record. No need to join the 250 million almost who watched this on YT and the awards recognition also gives the MTV VMAs a bad name back then. Easy thumbs-down for me. Not recommended.
