Sasha's episode
walter-082248 December 2020
Pretty good episode. Nothing amazing but still really good. This episode wasn't action packed, but it gave Sasha some needed characterization. I'm glad they fleshed out her character more this season as she didn't get too much development from the previous season. The scene with the little girl was great, and the moment with Sasha's father was genuinely heartwarming.

This high rating is after watching season 4

Warning: Spoilers
Major spoilers ahead.. so this is your second warning lol

How the little girl that Sasha saved appears in season 4 to confront Gabi who killed Sasha. It is clear that Gabi will feel remorse for killing Sasha soon. This is just a very good level of writing. This one was one of my least favorite episodes until I watched season 4. Never underestimate Isayama!

One of the more silent horror episodes
Adam-0926516 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I'm speaking of one segment inparticular, when Sasha saves the child from that one titan. Leading up to the house was quiet, no witnesses, even the titan seemed out of place. Almost human like, it was only about 3 meters tall but it's intellect was all the same, vacant, it acted on instict just like any other. On finding the house, the titan was already devouring the mother, it was unexpected for that family like some lost dog in the woods finding the village, even if they tried to reason with it, the titan was already blinded by it's motive. It had no care for mercy, the amount of blood spilled was just an effect of it's appetite no matter if the child was present. It was nothing personal to the child, the mother was just closest to grasp.

I feel the scene was uncanny because the titan looked human, being really small. It was the psychological difference between humans and titans, it didn't know any better.

If you are aware of who that titan was, then i can say it makes the episode even more emotional.

Unsettling!!

I Feel like this is an underrated episode! I liked it the first time i saw it, and efter season 4 part 1 i like it a bit more! There is not much happening in this episode, with focus mainly on Sasha, who really shines here!

Also this show is known for being brutal, but this episode is the scariest so far with multiple disturbing moments! Great use of sound to build tension.

Sacha gets appreciated
shaunryan-3937330 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Sasha provided comedic moments in her cameos in season 1 and she has her own episode which while admittedly is filler gives Sacha's character layers of development the small titan is probably scarier than larger titans because it seem more human like and the way it eats the little girls mom is disturbing 8/10.

A Tragic Encounter
sanadalsalt18 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I'm referring to a particular scene where Sasha rescues a child from a titan. As they approached the house, everything was quiet and there were no witnesses. The titan itself seemed out of place, almost human-like despite being only about 3 meters tall. Its intellect, or lack thereof, was similar to other titans - vacant and driven by instinct. Upon reaching the house, the titan was already devouring the mother, creating an unexpected and tragic situation for the family. Despite their attempts to reason with it, the titan was solely focused on its own motives, showing no mercy. The spilled blood was merely a consequence of its insatiable appetite, with no personal intent toward the child; the mother was simply the closest target.

The unsettling nature of the scene stemmed from the titan's human-like appearance despite its small size. It highlighted the psychological differences between humans and titans, emphasizing the titan's lack of understanding.

Knowing the identity of the titan adds an even deeper emotional layer to the episode.
