In the beginning of the music video, the quote "Every dead body that is not exterminated gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill." is from the 1978 film Dawn of the Dead. It is displayed in Japanese and then English. The phrase was deemed offensive in some countries and a censored version of the video was produced that omits the intro.
The song in the music video is drastically different than the album version and radio edit. Several different renditions of the backing track are added both in the intro and as an echoing pause. The vocals are clearly different, with the line "it's all in your head" having been modified to give the impression of his voice in your head, and can only be heard through stereo speakers and headphones. The song is also cut short with the video having a runtime of 4 minutes, 32 seconds. The album version is 5 minutes, 42 seconds. It is also performed noticeably slower (about 140 BPM) than that of the album version (150 BPM).
