What an incredible episode. The script is amazing and Julia Louis-Dreyfus playing Selina is perfection. If Season 7 continues to the level of this episode it will be the best of the series. Great job HBO!

First episode of what looks to be the best season yet!

I lost track of when this episode was going to aire and I can't even tell you how excited I was when I saw this episode was available to stream! It's been a long wait for season 7 but Julia Louis-Dreyfus and her health are more important than the timing of the show (not to mention there would be no show without her.)
Watching this episode felt like it does when you get to see your best friend after having been apart for years...you're incredibly excited and don't know quite what to expect or what might have changed, but once you're together, it's like you were never apart and you don't miss a beat. The cast was in sync and presented an amazingly well written script flawlessly. If this episode is in any way a glimpse of the episodes to come, we are about to be given a great gift-One of those seasons of a tv show that you can watch an endless number of times and still laugh and enjoy just as much, or more than you did the first time. I can't wait for episode two! Thanks to Selina and her campaign team and to the writers at HBO. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us this season.

I see there's not many reviews for what is such a great episode!...Whatever you do, if you read this; listen to what Gary or Richard mumble or interject throughout the episode so many little inside jokes......LOL>. Then Jonah, LOL smh...They really pulled out ALL the stops on his character...This is my third binge of the series and I am shocked I missed so much in the first 2...Some amazing laughs and Lord knows we can use all we can get now...:)
Love VEEP

Veep is one of my all time favorites but skip this season

Seriously, of all the shows I've seen crash and burn the last season of Veep is a failure for the ages. Bad plot writing doesn't imply harsh criticism of politics and the Trump era, it simply means bad writing. Lazy is not the new professional and getting a season of a show you no longer care about out of the way as soon as possible isn't the new respect for your audience. Characters are treated like cartoons, plot twists happen between episodes (tbf kind of genius if you don't know how to tell a story!), and all the wonderful wit and smarts and those surgically exact irony incisions that made this show the finest of its kind is sipping a margarita on the beaches of Venice I imagine, cause it ain't here.
