It can be perceived as a succesfull story, testimonial, parable, confession, moral story. It is, for me, a story about refuges. Not exactly as part of prison life but as example for live outside. For be yourself, for discover the seeds growing up in yoursself, the encouragement of art expressions by mother, the story change of different parts from father, the dream to become architect. It is , no doubts, a great movie. About meaning of life. Well crafted, profound beautiful. So, just usefull in great manner.
