Warning: Spoilers
The survivors decide to hike for safety, Rebecca and Brian head back to the coach to collect more water and medicine when they have a run in with Mike. The survivors then head into a storm which they won't all survive. A good tense episode with one really good jump scare. You get to know the coach passengers more, and I think there is more to Brian than meets the eye.

John Jarrett...

Warning: Spoilers
From the first film to the series John Jarrett has, as an actor, created the consummate movie boogeyman. More so than other movie killers who ultimately prove to be supernatural, or start out that way, he is human. And that is what makes him scarier than Freddy, Jason, or Michael. He is one of us.

The second film the writers\producers tried, I thought, to make him funny, like Freddy became. Too many wisecracks per kill.

When I heard about a series I was apprehensive that the killer comedian would continue and Mick Taylor would lose his most important asset; his dangerous self.

Season One returned him to the calculating psychopath he was in the first film. Sure the wisecracks were there... but they were tinged with hate and born out of an ego that only sees the world as his - all else are trespassers.

Season Two retains Mick's twisted psychology. Also like One and the first film, making it not all about him but also about the people he is hunting ("Most Dangerous Game" keeps coming to mind) makes him all the more a presence. While not in every scene, every scene is about him.

A couple moments tho have be concerned he could be heading in "Unkillable" territory. First when he kills a grown man his own size and in top shape with one hand; and then in this ep when he overcomes a Shaman's powerful magic that more than likely would have killed another. He goes on surviving such things, then he becomes Jason, Michael, and all the other undying movie killers of the past 40 years.

Of course there is no show\no more movies without Mick Taylor; but I certainly hope the way the material is treated does not keep him around by going that well worn route.
