I shed a tear more than once during this episode. It truly is inspirational and powerful in it's message. A dynamic cast and interesting premise for a show. I'm very excited to see where this show goes. It left me craving more for the first time in a while for a network drama.

Ditto reviews of the storyline and overall acting. However, when a production company portrays a military theme, as this one does with a former military veteran who lost a limb in Iraq, their historians better not be so damn lazy! Before watching the pilot, after seeing the teaser I knew I'd write this. The production company allowed the directors or who ever to have their actors use the British salute, which is way different than ours. So their salutes were all hand high instead of our US military salute, which is "raise your right hand until the tip of your forefinger touches the outer edge of your right eyebrow (just above and to the right of your right eye). When wearing headgear, the forefinger touches the headgear slightly above and to the right of your right eye. Your fingers are together, straight, and your thumb snug along the hand in line with the fingers. Your hand, wrist, and forearm are straight, forming a straight line from your elbow to your fingertips. Your upper arm (elbow to shoulder) is horizontal to the ground." Yet the producers felt they could just use what they remembered from some British military movie. LAZY AND INACCURATE TURNS ME OFF!
