Epic

The preshow scene is absolutely epic... The mid-episode flashback of Grisha vs Frieda is awesome, tense and straight to the point...

The rest of the episode was kinda slow but it is obviously an introduction to an epic battle that follows

Darius Zackly's way of torture... They call it "AoT most messed-up moment". I call it brilliant.

As an anime only watcher i was in shock at the preshow scene. Very dark and wonderfully animated. This was an epic episode. We finally learn more about Grisha Yeager and what he did. We also learn about Historia's sister, Freida, and the Reiss family They even included the Ackerman family too. Despite all the revelations, i think the show has done a good job keeping them straight to point and not letting it get confusing. I'm loving this so far.

A lot of foreshadowings being planted that could lead to Mikasa redeeming herself in the future of the show, since now we know that her bloodline is against the Reiss family.

Memories of the past!

What an excellent episode that gives us a lot of important revelations! I was deeply invested in this episode cause of how man important things that are shown and told to you! This episode gives us some insight into past memories of Eren and Historia as well as what Grisha did!

It keeper you invested by only giving you parts of the information! We also get a disturbingly dark scene with Zachary! Soundtrack was also good as it give of a feel of dark tension!

The episode concludes in a way that makes you very excited for the next which is also better! Knowing what is gonna happen later this episode was even better!

A wonderful episode, well-ordered events and a beautifully written complex story that makes you understand everything .

But I think what makes the episode so highly rated is that it at least contains fighting and enthusiastic scenes more than dialogues and revealing the truth for me.

Epic Revelations

As an anime only watcher I was shocked by the preshow scene. It was very dark and wonderfully animated. This episode was epic. We finally learn more about Grisha Yeager and his actions. We also learn about Historia's sister, Freida, and the Reiss family. They even included the Ackerman family too. Despite all the revelations, I think the show has done a good job keeping them straight to the point and not letting it get confusing. I'm really enjoying this so far.

In conclusion, my journey as an anime-only viewer took an unexpected turn with the intense preshow scene. The dark and superb animation set the tone for an epic episode that delved deep into the mysteries surrounding Grisha Yeager and his impactful choices. The revelations about Historia's sister, Freida, and the intricate history of the Reiss family, alongside the inclusion of the Ackerman family, added layers of complexity to the narrative. Surprisingly, the show managed to deliver these intricate plot points with clarity, avoiding unnecessary confusion. As I continue to watch, the unfolding story has captivated me, and I eagerly anticipate the next twists and turns in this gripping anime adventure.

The exposition is a little too much
askyou-105043 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode I believe is one of the weaker ones especially when it comes to the exposition, that in my opinion isn't all that interesting. This episode falls flat with its exposition for another reason that reason being that in previous episodes when we had big revelations it was done instantly and the shock really resonated but when they just sit you down and explain for a while why the protagonist isn't all that special because he doesn't have magic blood is a little uninteresting.
