Jackie is interviewed on TV and takes all the credit for the bodies' recovery for the FBI. Hank, Rachel and Decourcy watch, not pleased Rohr neglected to mention the State Police or DA's office. Rachel says she doesn't have enough on Jackie yet.
Jimmy and Corie chat while the Ryan kids go wild in the house. Cathy comes in and tries to restore order, looking for Frankie. Upstairs, he just finished a shower, Cathy is alarmed the guards were found. Frankie is not worried.
Ward interviews Sheik Sheehan in jail, trying to get the guards' killer identified, Sheehan won't budge.
Jackie goes home to get clean clothes, Rosa is vacuuming and the two trade insults.
Jenny is leaving College and notices a woman cursing at a broken down car. She offers a ride to Rachel. The two talk about their lousy husbands but as Rachel tries to ask too much about Jackie and a trip to Miami, Jenny gets suspicious and kicks Benham of the car.
Ward has Sheehan up in front of the Grand Jury. They start asking if he an an alibi for the Jan 8 day of the Revere armored car heist. He claims he drove his city vehicle to the horse track that day, got drunk and left it there. Ward charges him with misappropriation of government property, up to five years in jail. Outside he gives the bad news to Mrs. Sheehan and a lawyer. Ward then tells Hank Signa to get Tommy Hayes again.
Tommy, Frankie and another gang member Joe Nazzarin chat about Sheehan at a bar. Nazz suggests they all leave town for awhile, Frankie and Tommy laugh at the idea as being chicken, and leave a threat hanging.
Benham and Signa go to the Hayes house looking for Tommy. The wife is busy with three young kids and calls Rachel out for being a fake Bostonian. Tommy is not there.
Tara Sheehan goes to see Cathy Ryan, worried her husband will be sent up. She asks for more money, Cathy resists but agrees to increase the $500 week cash by $100. Cathy suggests Tara needs another plan if Sheik is imprisoned.
Yvette goes to see Jenny, upset Jackie is ignoring her and the pregnancy.
Decourcy and Siobhan host a cocktail party for progressive, wealthy liberals. A gay man gets Ward to, make a speech, he extemporizes a unity and change talk to a round of applause.
Jackie is watching porn as Jenny comes to his hotel room. She urges him to take care of Yvette, he promises to do so. As Jenny starts to tell him about Rachel in the car, a hooker arrives, Jenny leaves in disgust.
After the party, Todd Hastings says the Party will see where he fits in. His mother-in-law Eloise suggests Mayor is a dead end and Governor or Senator would be better. The in-laws leave and a tired Siobhan takes Decourcy to bed.
Corie comes to see Cathy, neither can sleep and they chat in a dark living room. Corie's father is in prison also, she desperately wants to leave Boston behind.
Jackie calls home and tells Rosa he put Yvette on a plane. Rosa lets slip Benny is at Rehab, Jenny gets up to get there before Jackie.
Ward goes to see Tara Sheehan. She won't talk but he reveals he knows she has been getting $500 a week from somewhere. Tara stresses she gambles.
Jackie arrives at the Rehab and compliments the attractive front desk lady. She refuses to let him in as he is not on the List. Rohr gets angry and tries to use his badge to get in. Jenny arrives and tells him to go away.
Hank and Rachel have lunch in a nice Persian Restaurant. They talk shop, Rachel has put out a BOLO on Tommy Hayesa and she will look into Jackie's trip to Florida, thinking it is about Clay Roach. Ward arrives and takes Hank's seat as he leaves to look into Charlestown bookies.
Frankie picks up his three kids from school and takes them to a beach for sodas and to watch the planes take off and land at the airport. He wishes they look after each other when they grow up and to go away to see the world.
Hank talks to a bookie, the man reveals the names of other bookies Vito Lupo, possibly retired?, and Richy Ryan.
Rachel goes to an apartment knocking on Clay Roach's door. A neighbor says he is gone and could be anywhere. At the office, Rachel calls Miami-Dade asking if Roach was in custody and if Jackie Rohr was there. She reports to Signa Tommy Hayes is still missing, Hank has an update for Ward. The three sit together in Ward's office, Signa explains about Richy Ryan and his two sons Frankie and Jimmy. Jimmy has minor public intox. busts and was a drinking buddy of Sheik Sheehan. Jimmy's main file is sealed though indicating he may be a Confidential Informant. Hank has checked and it is not BPD, Suffolk County or State, leaving only the FBI. Ward says to tail Jimmy Ryan to find out who he snitches for.
Frankie meets Det. Brian Hannahan at a bar. Frankie brings up some past robberies made by bad cops and makes some elliptical references to Larry Bird's retirement.
Ward meets Sheehan's lawyer and asks him to mention Jimmy Ryan at the Grand Jury. The lawyer says that would be illegal and refuses, leaving Sheehan in custody.
Siobhan helps the new preacher unpack, a woman returning to her roots. Capt. Shag Lewis arrives to say hello, Siobhan is hostile and didn't like his methods with the previous Rev. Lewis says her husband knew what he was up to.
Ward and Rohr meet at the elevator. Ward is still bitter about Jackie's media appearances, Jackie is angry that Ward did not follow their agreement, he leaves with an f-bomb.
Corie and Jimmy put the kids to sleep. Cathy and Frankie talk in their bedroom, Cathy doesn't like the idea of another heist now. Frankie says they will frame another crew for it. Corie packs to leave the next day. Jimmy offers to drive them to Florida and wants to reconnect. The two start kissing, Corie seems to want to have sex but then reveals she is engaged to be married in Miami. Jimmy is taken aback and leaves the house cursing. He goes to a bar and drowns his sorrow. He has a line of coke and fights with other men on the street. Signa and Benham watch from a car as Jimmy is beaten up. Jimmy staggers to a phone booth and calls Rohr for a meeting.
At an underground garage Jimmy meets Jackie and confesses to killing the three guards. Jackies laughs it off and is then angry Jimmy wasted his time. The FBI cop drives off as Hank and Rachel watch it all with interest from their car.
Ward drives home listening to rap. At home, Siobhan is furious Decourcy worked with Capt Lewis behind her back to get Fields ousted. She gives him a pillow to sleep with on the sofa.
The gang discuss the heist in the Ryan's kitchen. Jimmy is nervous that Tommy is missing, Frankie and Brian say relax. Hannahan has a hair sample taken in evidence to plant and point the police at another gang. Brian comments on Jimmy's bruises.
Jenny and Jackie have a civil talk about Benny. Jenny says the girl has deep shame over the assault and mentions the boy's name "Clay". Jackie leaves immediately and drives to an apartment complex. He breaks in the door to a flat and surprises a groggy Clay Roach on the sofa. Clay is puzzled then sees the gun and admits he interfered with Rohr's daughter. Roach makes a crude oral sex comment and Jackie shoots him in the face.
