There are multiple references to 007 James Bond in this episode: (1) The title Double-O Danger refers to Bond's agent number, 007 (double-o seven); (2) the scene where Schwoz aims his sleep dart gun at Henry and Henry shoots first with his laser mimics the intro sequence of the James Bond franchise; (3) the music Charlotte and Jasper play resembles the James Bond theme; (4) Captain Man asks the vice mayor if they have a license to kill - a reference to the Bond film License to Kill; (5) Ray mimics Sean Connery (the first actor to play James Bond) when he says, "Well, I don't like the sound of that;" (6) Charlotte says she gave Piper a drink "shaken, not stirred," which is a Bond catchphrase whenever he orders martinis; (7) Henry tells Joss his name is, "Hart. Henry Hart," a manner in which Bond frequently introduces himself, saying "Bond. James Bond."
