Best episode of season 4 BY FAR
johnnytightlips227 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
So this whole season I've been asking, "When are people going to notice how much Wynonna is struggling?" This episode addresses the cost of what it means to be a hero. It's cathartic. These past 4 seasons Wynonna has had to make impossible choices, at great personal sacrifice to herself. Wynonna, in her typical self-deprecating way, feels like she deserves all the hardships that come her way. She continues to believe, as certain traitorous aunts would say, that she's "broken."

At the start of this episode, Wynonna is in a dark place--drinking, killing demons, blacking out, repeat. It's incredibly worrying, especially because her pain in the previous three episodes has taken a backseat to Wayhaught wedding planning. Don't get me wrong--love Wayhaught. But Wynonna's been depressed and no one's been there for her. She's barely hanging on.

This episode has an unlikely character spit some hard truths to Wynonna's favorite person in the world. Jolene tells Waverly what many of us have been thinking this season: your sister is suffering. And you're not noticing. What are you going to do about it?

10/10. Best episode of the season, 100 percent. Thank you, Noelle Carbone.

Best episode by far!

By far the best episode of the series! Emily Andras and the writer's room (shout out to Noelle Carbone for the writing credit) really stepped up their game after 3 light hearted episodes. Dominique Provost-Chalkley and Zoie Palmer have the most insane chemistry as "angel" vs "demon". The Wynonna-Rachel bonding scenes were beautifully done as well. 10 out of 10 for me!

All I gotta say is ... DOMination!!! You go girl! Blown away by Dominique Provost-Chalkley's performance. Their( respecting pronouns) more serious and dramatic performance is wicked and clearly shows her full range as an actor. I love everything about the entire cast, writers, and crew. Top shelf baby!!!!! Goddess, Melanie and Katherine.. amazing! This show just keeps getting better with every episode. Bring Wynonna Home!!!!
