Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • Sarah's double mentions that both have great breasts during her letter to her original as part of the survivors group. This is not seen but discussed with her original after the therapy group.

Violence & Gore

  • A woman is instructed by a man to shoot his dog with a crossbow to end the dog's misery, but she refuses. Spotting another familiar woman outside, she shoots and arrow through the window and runs outside. Upon arriving, she realizes the other woman used a passerby's dog to shield herself, and the little dog's corpse is visible with an arrow to its eye. May prove to be a distressing scene to some viewers.
  • A woman suffering from a terminal illness vomits blood during a few scenes. First time this is seen is when she wakes up after coughing blood all over her pillow and bed.
  • Sarah practices using a knife in preparation for killing her double.
  • Sarah views a number of photos and has to describe how they were killed to her combat instructor. These include stabbing, shot to the head with an arrow and others.
  • Sarah watches an autopsy performed on a woman who looks a bit like her.
  • Sarah does mock fighting practice with her combat instructor.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • During an informercial for the cloning facility, a man is shown helping his clone adopt his mannerisms. When the clone is fully integrated with his family, the original man hangs himself against a stairwell, as his family lovingly embraces his double. Darkly humorous but still disturbing.
  • The opening scene where a clone ends up stabbing his original to death, all while the event has spectators and is televised, can be intense to some viewers.
  • The scene where the protagonist is told to kill a dog, then refuses, only to then accidentally kill another dog may be too intense for animal lovers.
  • The film's third act becomes darker than the first two, and the final scene where the protagonist (or her double?) breaks down while driving can devastate some viewers.
  • The scene where Sarah is told by her boyfriend she has a terminal illness over video chat can be quite intense.
  • Sarah goes to a duel support survivors group with her double where a man describes his experience fighting his double in a court mandated dual can be quite intense as he describes the injuries sustained by his double in the dual.
