Engulfing Drama with LIFE Lessons !
kunalstrmskmahajan22 December 2018
My Fan story with Pakistani dramas continues. This one started at its own pace, slow yet engaging. While the plot grows with every episode, fine acting coupled with a very hearty script makes you connect with the characters. Fine acting from Yasir and Neelum Munir stands out while the love story between Tamkinat and Azhar is a particularly relishing one, supplementing the fine underlying script/ Would deifintely recommend to give this a watch.

Warning: Spoilers
The drama revolves around the members of a family who have yet to discover what they think is more important for a happy life. Afzal, being the eldest of his siblings is struggling to fulfill the socioeconomic responsibilities of his family after the demise of their parents before their time. Upon the request of his teacher and mentor on his death bed, Afzal agrees to marry Ulfat, his teacher's elder daughter. Ulfat, despite her extreme reservations with his father's decision, due to Afzal's loving and caring nature can't help but slowly establish a strange friendship with his husband. Afzal, on the other hand, even after discovering the bold and quite impertinent nature of her wife, falls in love with her with every passing day but never gets love in return. The bond is too strong and strange to be understood by the other family members though who can't forgive her for her insolent reaction to even slightest of comments which Afzal can easily ignore since he is more aware of her nature and doesn't blame her for what she is. She manages to create a constant rift with all the members of his new family and keeps on disgracing her self with her stupidity, childish comments and irresponsible attitude on every occasion. Even with her routine quarrels with all the family members who are now well aware of here provoking nature and her disparaging behavior towards Afzal, the partners seem to have found at least one way to spend the rest of there lives with each other; she never hesitates to threaten everyone of denouncing the marriage and Afzal never misses a chance to placate her anger and brings her back home irrespective of the social pressure put by his siblings. Right when things seem to have stabilized, some new events create a ripple so strong that it gives Ulfat the reason and Afzal, the motivation to finally renounce the marriage for the good of everyone. The fire started from this event takes in its course the fate of other family members and specially, Azhar, Afzal's younger brother who has already married Tamkinat, Ulfat's cousin and the love of his life. It takes four years for everyone to realize what is more important for a happier life; love, respect or righteousness.
