  Christy : Know what you could do?

  Bonnie : [steps back in]  What?

  Christy : You could bring the DVD player up here and we could watch that.

  Bonnie : Okay, that's a good idea, a movie marathon with the two DVDs we own.

  Christy : Yay, Dirty Dancing first, and then Sheena Easton's 7 Minute Abs.

  Bonnie : I TRIED! I tried to be a good mom, and I yelled at Christy, I yelled at my sick kid! I'm a monster!

• Mackenzie : I don't know what to get, this one's for cough and this one's for fever, and my son has both.

  Bonnie : Yeah, I'm scared about giving a dose of this one to my daughter because she's so tiny.

• Mackenzie : [picking up medicine]  I'm just gonna get this one for Declan, it says pediatrician recommended.

  Bonnie : Yeah, I'm gonna get this one for Christy, she loves purple flavored. By the way, how old's your son?

  Mackenzie : Two. How old's your daughter?

  Bonnie : 41.

• Bonnie : [wearing Adam's Eagles T-shirt]  You know your shirt looks better with boobs in it.

  Adam : I could say the same thing for anything.

• Bonnie : [Christy's sick and heading to work]  You look like the Addams Family.

  Christy : But I put on lip gloss!

  Adam : Was it gray?

• Adam : Is there anything I can do to help?

  Bonnie : Yeah.

  [picks up pot and drops it on the table] 

  Bonnie : You can eat my damn soup!

  Adam : But I just had a cheeseburger...

  Bonnie : [rolls him into the table]  EAT IT!

• Bonnie : [taking Christy's temperature]  102.7, well that's better than it was.

  Christy : 102.7... all your favorite hits with half the commercials.

• Christy : [covered in sweat]  You know what I'd really like?

  Bonnie : Soup?

  Christy : A bath.

  Bonnie : I don't know, I think we need to wait until your fever goes down. Why don't you eat some soup?

  Christy : Bath!

  Bonnie : Soup.

  Christy : Can I take a bath in the soup?

  Bonnie : Hey, if it makes you feel better, I haven't had a bath, a shower, or a full night's sleep for the last three days.

  Christy : Why would that make me feel better?

• Christy : [grocery shopping after being sick for a week]  Oh, I want canned ravioli.

  Bonnie : I thought we were *done* throwing up.

  Christy : Please.

  Bonnie : Okay, but that's it!

• Christy : [feverish and sweaty]  I want a bath.

  Bonnie : Not now. You need to take a nap. Now go to sleep.

  [leaves the room] 

  Christy : [opens her eyes]  I can take a nap in the bath.

  [gets up] 

• Bonnie : Declan's mom? Christy's mom. How've you been?

  Mackenzie : [in tears]  Declan's cold turned into stomach flu which turned into an ear infection which turned into strep, and I can't stop crying. I'm failing this mom thing SO hard!

• Bonnie : You do feel warm, I think you should stay home.

  Christy : I gave lapdances with the chickenpox, I can power through this.

  [steps to the door, clutches her stomach] 

  Christy : No I can't!

  [runs to the bathroom and throws up] 

• Bonnie : I make her 27 cups of tea a day, I make soup and nobody eats it, I've been sleeping on the floor right beside her incase she needs me. I took a look under the bed, I think I know *why* Christy's sick.
